Guru Randhawa’s Hit Punjabi Song 'Lahore' To Be Recreated in Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor Starrer ‘Street Dancer 3D’

Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor will recreate Guru Randhawa’s hit Punjabi song 'Lahore' in 'Street Dancer 3D' film. Lahore was decided as one of the songs for recreation because the movie will feature an interesting face-off between India and Pakistan dancers.

Guru Randhawa’s Hit Punjabi Song 'Lahore' To Be Recreated in Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor Starrer ‘Street Dancer 3D’
After Mukkala Muqabala, actors Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor who is currently shooting for Remo D’souza’s upcoming dance film, Street Dancer 3D. Reportedly, both the actors will recreate Guru Randhawa’s hit Punjabi song 'Lahore' in the film. As per the reports, the recreated version is being composed by music composer duo Sachin-Jigar.

According to the Pinkvilla reports, a source informed that the movie will feature as many as 12 songs, out of which almost 3-4 are recreations of hit Punjabi songs. Lahore was decided as one of the songs for recreation because the movie will feature an interesting face-off between India and Pakistan dancers.

The popular dance number Mukkala Muqabala from the 1994 Tamil film Kadhalan was recreated by Prabhudheva. Reportedly, composer Tanishq Bagchi recreated the AR Rahman original that was dubbed in Hindi for the film, Humse Hai Muqabala. “It was shot during the on-going Dubai schedule with Prabhudheva taking centre stage for a minute-long solo performance, effortlessly repeating the difficult moves in a single take” a source had told to Mumbai Mirror.

Recently, Varun Dhawan shared a video on his Instagram account where Remo D’Souza seems to be asking everyone to leave but the entire crew is shouting as they are thoroughly enjoying shooting for the film. He captioned the post as, “When u don’t want to leave the set SD3, crazy peeps,” he can be also seen saying, “We don’t want to go home, we want to keep shooting.” 


Currently, the team of Street Dancer 3D is in Dubai for the shoot. The film will hit the screens on January 24, 2020.
